Relocated Croydon salon cut above the rest

A successful hair salon has had a revamp as it moved locations in Croydon.

The London Hair Company have recently relocated to a new branch in Shirley Road and owner Susan Kimber is delighted with the choice of location.

She said: “We wanted to be close to our existing customer, although lots travel to come to us, and so they do not come too far.

“The premises we secured are really prominent. We’ve had really good feedback from customers old and new.

“It is a nice change but we are only a mile from the old site.”

Susan has been a hairdresser all her life and has owned LHC, previously based in Woodside Green, for 12 years.

She believes her and her staff’s expertise and friendly manner are key to their business success, and this has shown in the uptake of clients in their new location.

Susan added: “Most of our clients have come with us and we have picked up new ones too.

“We now have a new online booking system which has been really successful.”

The 47-year-old said one of the key benefits of their new premises was the local community.

She said: “We have provided a much needed service in the area and we make a change from all the takeaways.

“Plus we can combine with the local bridal shop for packages.

Having now settled into their new surroundings, Susan said they are now consolidating the business and letting local residents know of the move.

She added: “At the moment we are concentrating on building our client base and concentrating on hair.”
