Carshalton business praised at South London Business Awards

JW Cannon celebrate their commendation
A Carshalton business was named as one of south London's best at an awards ceremony.
JW Cannon was commended in the Best Medium Sized Business category at the South London Business Awards on Thursday, July 5.
The building contractor's nomination came after the family-run company came second overall in the Business of the Year category at the Sutton Guardian sponsored Sutton Business Awards in May.
It also took the Best Marketing award and was highly commended in the Best Business for Customer Service category.
Managing director Clive Bowden, whose grandfather started the business, said: "We are delighted and proud to have received this commendation and I would like to place on record my gratitude to my senior team and all the staff members of J W Cannon for making this achievement possible.
"The way we have built on the achievements of the past hopefully means there is an exciting future in place for JW Cannon as we enter our 65th year of trading."
