Bus users across Lambeth will face severe delays and cancellations today as drivers stage a walkout over their pay during the Olympics.
Most routes in Streatham, West Norwood and Crystal Palace will not be running because of strikes by members of Unite at 17 bus companies, who argue they are owed an extra £500 to work during the 2012 Games.
Workers have formed a picket line outside the Arriva bus garage in Streatham Hill as part of the 24-hour strike.
But services unaffected, and running as normal are the 118 service from Brixton to Morden, which passes through Streatham, and the 196 service from Elephant and Castle to Norwood Junction, which serves Tulse Hill and West Norwood.
The 249 service from Clapham Common to Anerley, which travels through Streatham and Crystal Palace, is also reported to be running normally according to Transport for London (TfL).
