Pamper party to raise funds for vulnerable children
A pamper and party will take place next week to raise funds for vulnerable children and young people.
Mums on the Go will be hosting the event to raise funds for the Kids Company, a charity which operates solely on donations from the public.
With the support of nine local businesses, activities on the day will include a charity raffle, complimentary hair and beauty treatments, craft activities and baby yoga taster sessions.
A crèche will also be provided so that children can be supervised at all times.
Victoria Nicol, managing director of Mums on the Go, is hoping that the funds will make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children.
She said: "The charity is funded purely through donations and a lot of their work is running support centres for children where they can come and get some space.
"If we can raise a significant amount of money then I hope we can make a big difference."
The event, at 21/23 Wimbledon Hill Road, will take place on July 2 between 10am-3pm.
Tickets cost £15 and all proceeds will be donated to the charity.
