Entrepreneurial students have won a Surrey-wide competition with their innovative phone holder idea.
Claremont Fan Court School’s Young Enterprise company beat 70 others representing 39 of Surrey’s top independent and maintained schools.
The Esher school won best company report, best display stand and best company at the awards on Tuesday, May 1.
Their company Khrysos won with its Pholder – a product adapted from the phone holder, which has already seen commercial success.
Khrysos will now represent Surrey at the Young Enterprise regional finals in Horsham this June.
Khrysos director Will Turner, 17, said: “I believe our success has come from understanding everyone’s skill sets and being able to match tasks to the right people.
“This has been a huge learning curve for everyone involved and without doubt has changed us all along the way.”
