The Tuxedo Jazz Orchestra will present an evening of music and songs from the Golden Era at the Epsom Playhouse on May 10.
Tony Jacobs, who leads the orchestra, presents his foot-tapping performances with wit, enthusiasm and a deep knowledge born of his love for the 1920s and 1930s.
He regularly guests with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra and has appeared on Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night. He now tours with his shows, including The Gershwin Years, Let’s Face The Music and The Best Of Everything.
The Playhouse says Mr Jacobs and his co-stars play the unforgettable melodies of the Roaring Twenties and Fabulous Thirties with consummate musicianship and infectious good humour.
