Southern trains are facing delays after the incident
A fatality on the railway tracks is causing delays to services through East Croydon station.
The incident took place at around 12.20pm today at Three Bridges station in West Sussex, halting services through the station, causing delays of up to 90 minutes for routes running between London and Brighton.
A spokesman for Southern Railway said the incident was likely to cause changes to the timetable at short notice.
