A former law firm director is set to become a real life legal eagle when she completes a charity sky dive.

Anne Waldron, from Wimbledon, will be swapping her usual work suit for a bright pink jump suit.

She will be joining an exclusive group of women, known as the Breakthrough Booby Birds, to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

However, this is no ordinary sky dive. To take part she must raise £20k by the time she jumps in June.

To date, the Breakthrough Booby Birds have raised over half a million pounds and this year, they hope to break all previous records and fly straight to the million pound mark.

Anne said: "Three years ago my mother died from breast cancer. Like the thousands of other women diagnosed with this disease, my mother faced her illness and death with great courage.

"The very least I can do to honour her and all women suffering from breast cancer is to jump out of a plane and in the process raise as much money as I can towards the vital work of researching the causes of this frightening disease and developing the treatments that will save lives."
