A bunch of daring do-gooders will be jumping off a building for charity today.
The group of brave volunteers will be kitted up with ropes and harnesses before abseiling down Voyager House in Croydon.
Each will be raising money which goes towards good causes in the borough via Croydon Commitment as they descend the headquarters of Mott MacDonald.
Since its launch in 2004, Croydon Commitment has donated hundreds of thousands of pounds to good causes.
It hopes to raise £200,000 from its first charity abseil which will be shared between charitable projects via its Grass Roots Trust.
Ian Robinson, chief executive of Croydon Commitment, said: “The abseil will be a thrilling way to enjoy a unique and spectacular view of central Croydon, while raising essential funds for charitable projects.
“We hope businesses and individuals will sign up to take part in what promises to be a memorable day.”
The jump is being Croydon Commitment in association with All About Croydon, Mott MacDonald, Jurys Inn and Over the Edge Adventures.
