The entrance to Croydon University Hospital is set for a £56,000 refurbishment.
Croydon University Hospital deals with 2,000 patients, carers and visitors each day and is in need of a facelift.
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) will relocate to the entrance and will include an information and advice point with two computers for researching health information and accessing a wide range of other information.
The entrance will also include a high street pharmacy which will dispense drugs for patients as they are discharged or following their out-patient appointments.
