The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) lent a hand charity collecting at one of London’s biggest venues.

Ten members of the group, based at the London Mosque in Gressenhall Road, Southfields, raised money for Save The Children at the O2 Arena by selling charity wrist bands and stickers to people attending the X Factor tour last month.

An AMYA spokesman said: “The boys really had a good time collecting for the charity and it was a fun day.

“For Muslims, service to humanity is a religious duty. This will help us to realise the value of assisting in charitable initiatives, and to understand the importance of helping those from all walks of life, irrespective of colour, creed, religion or race.”
