Severe flooding above a natural spring near Addington could not dry out until June, Bromley Council estimated this week.
The Sparrows Den rugby pitches on Addington Road, West Wickham, has been one metre under water since January after torrential rain hit the area. Excessive water has only added to the flow of the natural spring running underneath the ground at the site.
