These four yobs, literally caught with their pants down, shocked staff at Sutton’s Holiday Inn when they stormed into the hotel with their trousers and underwear round their ankles.
The youths then set off a fire alarm at about 3.30am and 200 people staying at the hotel had to be evacuated.
Before the group fled the scene they vandalised a car park barrier, causing £1,000 damage.
Following the incident on November 7, appalled hotel staff contacted Sutton Guardian in the hope of catching the group, and offered a reward of a Christmas dinner for two at the hotel’s restaurant for information – floor show not included.
Holiday Inn manager Marco Frik said: “They were typical lads who had had too much to drink and thought it would be funny to expose themselves to our night staff.
“The hotel was full and it caused a massive disturbance for guests when the fire alarm went off. We received numerous complaints – people were rather irritated.
“Their disgraceful behaviour is out of order. It isn’t funny and they can’t get away with this.
“The lads showed they were men when they exposed themselves, now they need to show they’re real men and come forward and take some responsibility for their actions.”
Mr Frik said the barrier was out of use for a week the hotel lost around £500 in car park charges.
A police spokesman said: “Sutton police officers are continuing to make enquiries about this incident.
"We have obtained CCTV images and we are looking at these as part of our investigation.
"We take any incidents of crime and disorder very seriously and a thorough investigation will be completed.”
Leader of the opposition Councillor Paul Scully said: “We can’t tolerate this kind of behaviour.
“It shows how a mindless act, that may have started as a prank, can escalate into vandalism and cause so much aggravation for so many people. We need to catch the people who are responsible – they can’t get away with this kind of behaviour.”
Sutton and Cheam Member of Parliament Paul Burstow said: “We have a real problem in this country with alcohol-fuelled violence.
“I hope the CCTV will be of use in catching these people. They have to face the consequences of their actions.”
