A gardener has denied killing a teacher whose body was found in Banstead Woods.
Peter Ling, 50, of Taylor Road, Wallington, appeared in the Old Bailey charged with the murder of SCOLA teacher Lynda Casey, from Coulsdon.
The body of the 54-year-old was found dumped in undergrowth on Great Solom's Wood, Banstead.
She had suffered serious head injuries.
Mr Ling denied the murder prosecutors said occured between August 8 and 13.
He was remanded in custody. The trial has been scheduled for February 8.
