Two men were stabbed on Friday by a gang of teenagers carrying out an apparently unprovoked attack.

Ten youths, all black and thought to be about 17 years old, punched and kicked the pair to the ground before stabbing them and fleeing in St Mark’s Road, Mitcham at 10pm.

Their victims were are a 22 year old from Epsom who was stabbed his left bicep and a 20 year old from Mitcham who received superficial stab wounds to his right arm, lower back and abdomen. Both were taken to St. George’s Hospital in Tooting with non-life threatening injuries.
