A single mum who lashed out at her ex-partner and injured two police officers after a drunken row over food has been let off with a community order.

South Western Magistrates’ Court today heard Susan ‘Pamela’ Anderson, 42, of Petersfield Rise, Roehampton had been on an all-day drinking session with her ex-partner Jimmy Meager which ended with them both back at her house.

Mr Meager had been asleep in bed but was woken by Anderson cooking at 1am on May 25 after complaining she was hungry.

He asked her to stop as he did not like the smell of the food which sparked an argument that quickly turned physical.

Police were called and as officers tried to put handcuffs on her she lashed out. One officer, PC Williams was bitten on the arm and another was kicked in the chest.

It took seven officers to restrain Anderson, who was still drunk after bingeing on beer and wine earlier in the day.

Defence lawyer Yinka Oladimeji told the court her client now realised the police were only doing their job but at the time mistakenly believed she was under attack.

She also said Anderson, who pleaded guilty to three assualt charges, had consumed so much alcohol she could not clearly remember what happened that night and is now seeking help with her anger issues.

Chair of magistrates Mrs Methuen ordered Anderson to do 80 hours of unpaid community service and pay a fine of £150.
