New Malden fire crews were kept busy this morning with two call outs to the same block of flats in Wimbledon.
Firefighters were called to reports of a fire alarm being maliciously activated at the flats in Francis Grove at 3am.
They were then called back to the flats after a pile of rubbish was set alight at the managed apartment complex causing smoke to enter the building.
No one was injured.
