A convicted sex attacker who escaped from his escort has been found “safe and well” on the south coast.
Owen Rose, who was convicted of attempted rape and sexual assault, had been at large since giving the slip to his mental health services escort en route to secure accommodation in Camberwell.
Officers sent out an alert that he could be in Croydon or Lambeth.
He was detained in the early hours of today by police on the south coast.
The 27-year-old had been missing since last Thursday when he escaped in Denmark Hill.
