International stardom beckons for a Mitcham DJ who has progressed to the semifinal of the world’s largest competition for disc jockeys.
Thomas Milenda, 27, from Inglemere Road, put the turntables and judges in a spin at the regional final of Movida Corona competition and now goes head to head with eight of the country’s best DJs in Liverpool on Friday.
The UK winner will then battle against DJs from over 70 countries in a bid to be crowned world champion at the final in Austria in December.
Whoever comes out on top will be invited to play at exclusive Pacha clubs all around the world.
