Gay wedding company takes on US

Comments (0)A Weybridge wedding company is going transatlantic after its success in England’s same-sex market.
Pink Weddings plans to expand its expertise in the civil partnership market and will launch in the US later this year.
Since 2003, the company has dealt with 2,056 ceremonies and civil partnerships, planning everything from the venue to chocolate fountains for the reception.
Pink Weddings’ head office will be in Arizona and Gino Meriano, company founder and gay rights campaigner, said: “Our mission is to support those organisations in the USA fighting for same-sex family rights and to introduce the concept of federally recogonised civil partnerships across all the states of the USA.”
Pink Weddings’ US website pinkweddings.us launches on October 1.
