THE scorching weather has already attracted thousands of swimmers and sun seekers to Charlton Lido this summer.

In a one-week period, 8,000 people enjoyed an outdoor swim or relaxed by the pool on Charlton Park Lane.

As part of Greenwich Council's social inclusion agenda, the lido now includes improved access for the disabled, with alterations to access ramps, changing rooms and pool entry.

The pool is open from 10.30am to 6pm daily throughout the summer.
