A DOZEN members of 2nd Gravesend Boys' Brigade were on their best behaviour when they met the Mayor of Gravesham.
The 11 to 15 year olds listened to a talk by Gravesham mayor Councillor Peggy Mersh last Thursday (March 29).
The 25-strong group of boys, aged five to 15, is attached to the Gravesend Methodist Church and new boys are always welcome.
The brigade meets at the church in Milton Road on Thursday evenings and does similar activities as the Scouts, such as camping and community work.
Group leader Terry Owen, 62, has been a member since 1949, one year after the group formed in Gravesend.
If you would like to join, call Mr Owen on 01474 567005.
