Staff at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home are planning to streak for charity - their hair that is.
And some of the female staff's dogs will also be joining the charity challenge this month.
“Streaking our hair in our signature ‘Battersea Blue’ has been great fun and loads of staff have taken part. “We hope to raise lots of money and beat the boys in the process."
Fiona Healey-Hutchinson
The money raised will be used to help care for the dogs and cats the home takes in.
Last year male staff grew their beards for six weeks raising more than £5,000 which were used to pay for beds, toys and other animal essentials.
Fiona Healey-Hutchinson, director of fundraising, said: "Streaking our hair in our signature Battersea Blue' has been great fun and loads of staff have taken part. "We hope to raise lots of money and beat the boys in the process.
"The lucky winner who raises the most funds will get a cut and blow dry from hairdresser-to-the-stars, Nicky Clarke.
"It's a great incentive to get that sponsorship rolling in."
To sponsor a member of the home's staff call its fundraising department on 0870 890 0000 or email fundraising@dogshome.org.
