A fire in the tunnel between Colliers Wood and South Wimbledon has caused severe delays on the Northern line.
Firefighters were called to a small blaze in the tunnel - believed to be caused by rubbish catching fire on the track - at 7.09am.
The line was closed while firefighters from South Wimbledon extinguished the blaze, which was put out by 8.05am.
Firefighters remain at the scene but the line has reopened with severe delays.
Transport for London said earlier that the Northern line had been suspended between Morden and Tooting Broadway.
Fire engines were spotted outside Colliers Wood and South Wimbledon stations while passengers waited on the footpath outside.
South West Trains First Capital Connect and Southern are accepting London Underground tickets.
