Keira Knightley to pose naked in ad campaign

Actress Keira Knightly is to appear naked in an advertising campaign for Chanel.

The Pirates of the Carribean star, who grew up in Teddington, will cover her modesty with a white shirt draped across her lap and a bowler hat over her breasts.

Miss Knightley, 22, has in the past been vocal over media intrusion into her life.

But when questioned about this apparent contradiction with appearing nude in the Coco Mademoiselle perfume advert she said in an interview in Vogue magazine: "Of course I want to have my cake and eat it."

The actress has also appeared nude in a photoshoot for Vanity Fair alongside Scarlett Johansson and designer Tom Ford.

Miss Knightley, who attended Teddington School and Esher College, is also being tipped for an Oscar nomination for her role in the new British film Atonement.
