It was a memorable moment last week when Manchester City too on Chelsea for a shot at the Community Shield.
But for one Croydon youngster, it was about more than the 90 minutes of football.
Oluwajomiloju Olusegun was able to experience an unforgettable moment when she walked out alongside new City recruit Rihad Mahrez in front of 72,000 screaming fans.
Oluwajomiloju was blown away by the whole experience.
“I loved walking out on the Wembley pitch, it was exciting looking at the crowd and seeing them all cheering," the seven-year-old said.
"I don’t think I’ll ever stop talking about it.
"It was an amazing dream come true.”
