Submissions are now open across ten categories to nominate this year’s best sporting champions in Epsom and Ewell.
The Epsom & Ewell Sports Awards 2018, which rewards the most inspiring clubs, athletes, volunteers and coaches in the borough, will be held on Tuesday, October 16 at Epsom Downs Racecourse.
The award is organised by the Epsom & Ewell sports and leisure council and borough council to celebrate the borough’s sporting achievements in the past year.
The 10 awards on offer include young volunteer of the year, the disability sports award, coach of the year, sports personality of the year and sports club of the year.
Cllr Barry Nash, chairman of the community and wellbeing committee said: "We need your nominations to help us reward the borough's deserving sportspeople.
“With the range of awards on offer, show your appreciation and nominate your local sporting hero today and help us celebrate the sporting enthusiasts who have made a difference in Epsom and Ewell.”
