Three men have appeared in court today after they were charged in connection with nearly 30 burglaries across four counties – including several parts of Surrey.

Esher and Thames Ditton were one of many areas reportedly hit over a six-month period before three men were arrested in connection with the incidents on July 17.

A total of 15 properties in the county were allegedly affected between last November and this June, alongside 10 in Hampshire, one in Hertfordshire, and another in Sussex.

The trio appeared before Staines Magistrates Court on July 18 after they were arrested by officers during early morning warrants executed the day before.

Kelleher, 30, of Byefield Road in Portsmouth, Hussain, 25, of Edith Road in Hammersmith, and Hart of Conigham Road in Hammersmith are all charged with conspiracy to burgle.

Four of the 15 properties affected were in Haslemere, three in Godalming, and one in each of Claygate, Chiddingford, Esher, Farnham, Thames Ditton, Warlingham, Woldingham, and Wormley.

They have been remanded by police and will next appear for a plea hearing at Guildford Crown Court on August 16.
