Employees at Wandsworth charity have raised £3,500 in support for their assisted living facilities.

Nightingale Hammerson staff participated in the Virgin British 10KM run on Sunday, July 15.

The charity said staff are at the forefront on fundraising activities, which ‘help the organisation continue to provide world class care with innovative facilities’.

The team was led by CEO Helen Simmons.She has so fair raised £2,350 and also broke the one hour threshold, finishing in 57 minutes and 35 seconds. Helen is just short of her £2,500 target.

Nightingale Hammerson director of operations, Andrew Leigh also took part in the run. He finished just being Hannah, in 58 minutes 43 seconds.

Activity team leader, Jacqui Beyer and activities coordinator Anselle Marschaus both finished in under one hour 20 and have raised £895.50 in total.

Nightingale Hammerson provide residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for older Jewish people. They have a branch in Wandsworth and Hampstead.
