An Epsom school is trying to teach its kids the finer points about saving money.
Southfield Park Primary School is part of a 'kickstart money' project which aims to give kids an education in finance earlier, rather than later.
The MP for Epsom and Ewell, Chris Grayling, joined the group of 9-11 year olds as they tackled everything from understanding the value of money to dealing with saving.
“This is a great initiative that tackles the root cause of some of the most pressing issues in society today," he said.
"It goes right to the heart of one of the big challenges for people growing up in our area.’’
