This is the moment a raft of ducks were spotted cooling off in the blazing London heat around the River Wandle.
Photos sent into the Sutton Guardian show the group of five taking a shower in the cool water on July 3 by Toni Wall in Restmor Way, Wallington.
It follows as temperatures continue to rise across the UK in a period of uninterrupted sunshine, with June being one of the hottest and driest ever according to provisional Met Office figures.
