The Rolling Stones rocked Twickenham Stadium last night, in the last leg of the UK tour.

Mick Jagger and co brought the party last night as they played to a sold-out crowd. Playing their classic hits the Stones had the crowd rocking.

Local resident and fan John O’Reilly was at the gig with his son and said: “It was fantastic, I have always wanted to see them but I did not think they would have been as good as they were.

“I don’t normally use this word, but they were awesome.

"The stadium was packed out, I couldn’t see an empty seat.

"James Bay opened and he was very good but the crowd really did get going when the Stones came on.

“My highlight was Sympathy for the Devil, I love all their songs but this one is my favourite and it was great to see it live. You can see why they have been so successful for so long, they really had the crowd going.

“Mick Jagger was especially good, he and the others had the stadium rocking. It's just a shame I didn’t manage to get their autographs.”

Another local resident, Sabine Brignell, Whitton, was unable to get a ticket despite numerous attempts to do so. However, she did say how much she loves The Rolling Stones and paid tribute to Mick Jagger in a painting.
