Nine-year-old taken to hospital after crash
A nine-year-old girl had to be rushed to hospital yesterday after being hit by a car in Mitcham.
Police and London Ambulance Service were called to Streatham Road at about 3.45pm to reports of a crash between a car and a pedestrian.
The nine-year-old victim was taken to a west London with non life-threatening or life-changing injuries.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
