A short flag raising ceremony will be held in Epsom Market Place ahead of Armed Forces Day.
The day proper is held on the last Saturday in June, and the public is invited to the quick ceremony on Monday, June 25 at 11.30am.
The Mayor of Epsom and Ewell, Councillor Neil Dallen, councillors, reserves and cadets from the 135 Geographic Squadron and representatives from the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment and the Royal British Legion will be there.
Armed Forces Day is held to give people the opportunity to show support for the men and women in the armed forces community, past and present.
Epsom and Ewell Borough Council will join other local authorities, government departments and 10 Downing Street in flying the flag from the Monday.
