Police have confirmed that a missing 13-year-old girl from Wimbledon that travelled to Poland is bow with her mother.

Serena Alexander-Benson was last seen by her father leaving their home at around 7.50am on May 25.

She had told her father that she was going to school, but she did not arrive.

Police established that Serena left the UK at Folkestone that same morning on a EuroTunnel train.

She was travelling in a car with a female friend of her mother.

Today (May 30) officers were advised by the National Crime Agency that Polish authorities have confirmed Serena is with her mother in Poland.

Enquires continue to establish whether any offences have been committed.

There has been no European Arrest Warrant issued.
