A Sutton man who was wanted for attacking police officers and stealing from shops according to the force has been jailed.
Nicholas Hazell, of Green Wrythe Lane, was wanted for two assaults on police officers in Sutton and shoplifting offences in both Merton and Surrey.
The 34-year-old, who also did not attend court-ordered drugs appointments, pleaded guilty to ten charges at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on May 12.
These were – four charges of failing to appear in court, two charges of failing to attend drugs appointments, two charges of robbery, and two charges of assault on a police officer.
Hazell, who was arrested on May 11, was sent to prison for eight months that day.
