Next month, Chris Hopgood will test his luck at the poker table with a chance to win more than £100,000.

But in the lead-up to the event, the Wimbledon man is getting a little help.

After winning a spot in the PokerStars Festival Marbella Main Event in June, Mr Hopgood was bought into a lead-up event to get some practice before the big day.

To help him on his journey, multimillionaire and poker professional Jake Cody was recruited to lend a helping hand.

The two spent the morning going over a few tricks of the trade before getting stuck in to the tournament.

Although Mr Hopgood didn’t cash in the event, he was “very grateful for the opportunity and hopes his luck will turn in Marbella."
