Have you ever wanted to feel like royalty?

Well now is your chance.

Last month a lady from Sutton brought to Catherine Southon Auctioneers and Valuers's attention a "beautiful diamond brooch."

"This was bought into our Sutton valuation day in March," a spokeswoman for the company said.

"A lady bought it along and saw Catherine who was stunned by its beauty and pure elegance."

But it turns out that brooch's design had some exciting history to it.

The original diamond Prince of Wales Feathers brooch - for which this piece of jewellery takes its design - was gifted to Duchess Wallis Simpson by Edward VII and then later purchased at auction by Elizabeth Taylor.

Now the brooch is going up for sale.

But you will need to have a few thousand lying about as it is estimated to fetch between £4000 and £6000.

The auction will take place on May 2 in Farleigh Court, Selsdon.
