Two Wallington picture framers have reached the final of two 'highly prestigious' awards.
Both Kevin and Zoe Nihill, of Eagle Gallery Framing, are finalists in The Fine Art Trade Gudils' Art and Framing Industry Awards.
Mr Nihill has entered a piece into the ‘Best Mount Design’ category while Zoe submitted one into the ‘Guild Challenge Framing’ section for this year’s awards, to be held across a weekend in May.
He said: "Competitions offer the opportunity to push our creative talents, try new skills, and test ourselves against some of the best designers in the country.
"It's a fine balancing act being creative, enhancing the object being framed, while showing off your framing skills and techniques."
The Art and Framing Industry Convention and Awards will be hosted at the Crowne Plaza, in Stratford-upon-Avon, on May 12 and 13.
