A 14-year-old boy has been charged with murder after the fatal stabbing of a man in South Norwood.
20-year-old Kelva Smith was found by emergency services on Albert Road around 5pm on March 5 and died at the scene.
The 14-year-old was charged on March 10 with murder, possession of an offensive weapon, in this case a knife, and attempted wounding.
He will appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court later today, March 12.
He is the second person to be charged with murder after Tyrone Farquharson, 19, of Archer Road in South Norwood, was charged on March 7.
Farquharson appeared at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 8 March and was remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on 25 May.
A 15-year-old boy has been bailed in connection with the offence.
