People travelling in late to work today were hit by delays after a train crashed into a tree.
The 9.10 service from London Cannon Street towards Sidcup and Slade Green hit the tree at Hither Green.

The tree became wedged under the train.
Staff were on site and were able to remove the tree and the train was able to move on, but it disrupted the entire line.
The line was finally able to return to normal by 10.30am.
