From Essex back to London, a 150-year-old gin distillery has set up shop in Balham and is running tours and tastings galore.

The Hayman family has been distilling Hayman's Gin since 1863, most recently in Essex, but now they are back in south west London.

James Hayman said: “There are few if any other distillers who still produce gin the way we do – bringing together the 19th Century recipes handed down through five generations of our family with a true English two-day distillation process.

“The new site provides a wonderful space from which we can share our story, educate, entertain and of course sample our range of true English gins.”

With the unveiling of the new distillery there was also the launch of the brand's new look.

Hayman’s True English London Dry Gin was this year recognised as Britain’s best London Dry Gin at the World Gin Awards and is available nationwide in Waitrose with an RRP of £26.
