Pret a Manger has submitted its latest plans to open a new branch in Battersea.
The international sandwich shop chain put forward several applications for the site in St John’s Road, with the latest on February 15, following two previous ones.
If approved, the new Battersea branch would go alongside others in Putney High Street, Garratt Lane’s Southside Shopping Centre, and a store inside St George’s University London.
In a report Jessica Carmichael of Indigo, Pret’s client, said: “The proposed development is of a scale and design and will not detract from the existing character and appearance of the Clapham Junction Conservation Area or cause any harm to public safety or amenity.
“Accordingly, the proposals are in accordance with the requirements of national and local policy.”
Pret's latest proposal wishes to make alterations to the existing shopfront and the installation of advertisements.
