A New Addington takeaway that was destroyed in a fire late last year is re-opening.
On November 27, the London Fire Brigade rushed to family run business, the Peking Inn.
While nobody was severely injured as a result of the fire, most of the ground floor, part of the first floor and all of the ducting from the ground to the first floor were destroyed.
At the time, people were quick to express their sorry for the much loved restaurant.
"Absolutely devastated to see this, I have known them for years and I really hope they are ok, best chip shop up here," Lesley Parnell wrote.
"We wish them all well such sad news for New Addington," Jackie Isted said.
"Such a great fish and chips shop, we hope they're back in business soon."
Now that wish has been granted.
A sign was spotted on the building of the chip shop in Headley Drive, saying that a re-opening was imminent.
"Dear customers," the sign says. "We are opening on this coming Monday, the 26 of February."
Great news for the owners, just three months after the devastation.
