Police want to reunite jewellery and antiques believed stolen in burglaries with their rightful owners.

The home of a burglary suspect was raided by Merton police last month and a 'large quantity' of jewellery, watches and antiques were recovered.

A search of another property found a quantity of jewellery suspected to have been stolen in burglaries.

A man has since been charged with a total of 12 offences including burglary, fraud, supplying an article for use in fraud and taking a vehicle without consent.

A woman identified as a suspect for allegedly using a stolen bank card has been charged with fraud and and handling stolen goods, and bailed to attend court.

If you recognise any of the jewellery, watches or antiques you are asked to call police on 101.

Police are not releasing any more details at this point.
