Emergency services have rushed to an incident in Carshalton this afternoon (February 21).
Witnesses said they spotted the air ambulance, police and fire service close to Green Wrythe Primary School.
A Met Police spokesman said: "We were called to Roche Walk at 2.46pm with a man suffering with self-inflicted injuries."
London Fire Brigade were callled at 3.04pm to assist the London Air Ambulance with the man and left the incident at 3.57pm.
