Actor and comedian Sally Phillips has signed up to join writer Nick Hornby in a public Q & A in Twickenham next month.
Phillips, known for Miranda and Bridget Jones Diary, will serve as compère to the twice Oscar nominated screenwriter.
The British Comedy Award nominee has also appeared in ‘I’m Alan Partridge’, ‘Green Wing’ ‘Taskmaster’ and ‘Death in Paradise’.
All the proceeds from the event, to be held at Twickenham Studios on March 13, will go to the mayor of Richmond’s chosen charities, Off the Record, Me Too & Co and Cavernoma Alliance UK.
Councillor Lisa Blakemore, mayor of Richmond, said: “I am delighted that Sally Phillips has agreed to be a part of this event.
“Sally is a fantastically funny, insightful actress and I’m sure she’ll do a great job in getting insightful and entertaining answers and stories from Nick Hornby.
“There are still a limited number of tickets available for this exclusive event so if you would like to attend please visit the website and purchase your ticket. Proceeds will be going to the Mayor’s charities.”
Tickets cost £50 and can be found here: www.richmond.gov.uk/mayors_charities
