A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a hit-and-run in Epsom.
Police were called to the High Street at around 1pm yesterday (February 17) after reports that a woman in her 70s was hit by a silver Hyundai i10. Police believe the car may have been stolen.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A man in his 30s from Leatherhead was later arrested for various driving offences in Fetcham at around 3pm.
It is believed the car was driven around the Epsom, West Ewell and Chessington areas and on the A3 towards Cobham.
