The multi-million pound refurbishment at Empire Cinema in Sutton has finally reopened.
The long-anticipated relaunch in the St Nicholas Centre was delayed from last Friday (February 9) while the cinema chain awaited the delivery of state-of-the-art new seating.
Featuring ten screens, the cinema boasts double sofas and electric recliners.You can even sit in seats which synchronise with the film you are watching and mimic the movements and vibrations of what you see on screen.
Kicking off Empire Cinemas Sutton’s first month is a huge line up of blockbusters from Fifty Shades Freed to Marvel’s Black Panther and Monster Family.
Justin Ribbons CEO of Empire Cinemas said: “We are today bringing the movies back to Sutton with our amazing new Cinema and look forward to welcoming our first customers."
