A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a teenager was stabbed to death in broad daylight.
Police were called at 3.50pm yesterday (February 11) to reports of an injured man in Hopton Road, Streatham.
Upon arrival they discovered that a 19-year-old had been stabbed and despite efforts from police and the London Ambulance Service, the man died nearly an hour later.
A 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and he was subsequently further arrested on suspicion of murder.
He was taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody at this time.
